9:30 - Welcome and intro
9:45 - Gentle yoga practice focusing on calming the nervous system
10:45 - Psychoeducation around the nervous system, and group chat
11:10 - Yoga Nidra

8-Week Yoga Therapy Course for stress, anxiety & depression

Join this 8 Week yoga therapy course to help manage and reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. Inspired by Heather Mason at The Minded Institute (https://themindedinstitute.com/profile/heather-mason/), this course uses somatic practices, movement, breathwork, and mindfulness, all backed by neuroscience and psychotherapy research to help support you to:
• Enhance the functioning of the nervous system to improve well-being
• Improve self-awareness
• Reduce rumination and eliminate unhelpful habitual patterns of thought and behaviour.

This course will be run at Rise yoga & wellbeing studio in Farncombe (Godalming), Surrey (https://www.rise-community.co.uk/), and will meet weekly for 2 hours each time.
